The lower grades at Darlington are all about channeling the amazing energy of young children into a lifelong love of learning. Students in grades 3-5 flourish under the leadership of our caring faculty as they collaborate and learn together. All Darlington lower grades teachers and teaching assistants are Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator trained. This advanced training draws on developmental neuroscience to provide an optimal education experience.

Accelerated Learning Program for Dyslexia
Darlington is the only school in Northwest Georgia offering a program specifically designed to support students with dyslexia. The Accelerated Learning Program is a specialized, fee-based service within the Teaching and Learning Center focusing on students in grades 1-5.
